Up for auction is a rare white carnival glass Imperial large Open/Lustre Rose Fernery in mint condition. It stands on 3 footed feet and has extreme irridescense! Very beautiful!! Imperial stickers still on bowl. Bowl measures 4 1/4 inches tall, and has a 7 3/4 inch open diameter. According to the book, Imperial Carnival Glass by Carl O. Burns this fernery in white carnival takes top honors! Pg. 101 in the book reads: Few collectors probably realize that this fernery is also known in amber, aqua, teal, clambroth, olive, smoke, amberina, and a beautiful, frosty white. All of these are rare, but the amber and clambroth can be found with a little searching. The smoke, teal, aqua, and olive examples are quite rare. The top spot is shared by the extremely rare white and amberina examples. Please see my other listings for more great glass bargains. Please ask questions before bidding, and good luck on all your Ebay transactions. Thanks! I have been asked about mold lines. It is a 3 piece mold. Thanks. Pristine condition.
