An Ultra RARE ,Important Dovetailed ,Gooseneck Spout Strap Handled Tea Kettel, Made and Signed by " G Tryon" ( George Tryon) Who Worked In Philadelphia ,Pennsylvania in the Very early 1800's. This kettle is made excessively rare due to it's original surface ,it has Never been Polished ,maybe cleaned a few times ,but the surface is Outstanding. Two of these were sold in the last few years , in the finest Auction Houses known ,and they each brought well over 3,000.00 each, this one is actually a notch or 2 in better condition. The Strap Handle is deeply impressed " G Tryon" ,and is is very ledgible. The Gooseneck Spout is just superb. The Craftsmanship ,and quality is as perfect as can be ,and it is absolutely well made ,and was made to last. If you get to be it's new owner ,please do not have it polished, a lot of it's value is in the surface. The Lid is original but has a later finger Pull. There are 2 old repairs seen on the Bottom ,both are water tight. In the Land of American Copper Tea kettles ,it just doesn't get any better than this. If you want one ,or collect them ,this is a Keystone example for you collection ,and will look great anywhere you choose to display it !!!!!
