ORIGINAL Jack Gage Stark Oil Painting on Board, circa 1930-40's. Fresh to the open market....Authentic JACK GAGE STARK (1882-1950) Oil Painting on Board (unsigned), titled "House in Pierros Bravos", Silver City New Mexico. The painting is in excellent condition with toning from being displayed for more than 75 years. Classic Jack Gage Stark style!! The label on the reverse states it was painted around 1912, we believe it was painted in the 1930's to 1940's. Accompanied by an original Exhibition brochure from the Carroll Carstairs Gallery, NY, 1947. In good condition with a folding crease and toning to the front. On the reverse is a letter to the Gallery and possibly signed by Jack Gage Stark. We could not find a signature to compare. The painting is housed in the original frame from the Gallery when it was exhibited in January 20th to February 8th of 1947. Rare opportunity to add this exceptional piece of American Art to your collection! Approx Size: 10 1/2" X 9 1/2", painting only is 6" X 5".
