Up for auction i s a N HO scale brass imported 40 ft. bul khead flat car that has been custom painted and lettered for the Norfolk & Western and has a simulated log load. This car came to us in a collection of HO scale t rains and had no box. There are no identifying marks or labels on the under side of the car that indicates either the importer or man ufacturer. As brass cars go, the d etail on this ca r is pretty crude and there is no underbody detail. The paint work and decaling are well done. The car also has good spr ung trucks and Kadee couplers. The log load appears to be a Chooch item that has been hacked up to more or less fit the car . I do not care for the way the load was cut and stuck back together, insuring it would only kind of fit the car . I would remove it and start over.
