We have been selling used clock parts for some time now. We have been asked to help sell a collection of fusee and other pocket watches from a long time collector of pocket watches. I know very little about them but will try to answer any questions I can. Please read all the information and ask if I have not made the description clear. We will be selling these all "AS IS" and as they have been around for a long time we are selling them in non running condition. We do not disassemble the items and I do not repair watches so my description will be only what is visible to the naked eye. Please realize that these watches and clocks have been around for many many years. You are bidding on - Two Incomplete 8 Day Used Cuckoo Clock Movements for parts parts repair AThese cuckoo clock movement are not complete but some good parts or restorable. The first one is marked E. Schmeckenbecher, 34/1/77 and the plates measure 3 5/16" wide, 2 7/8" high. There is no bird stand but the brackets are here. The lifters and hammer are missing. The verge and escape wheel look good. The wire that the pendulum hangs on is missing. There are no hands or nut, pendulum or chains. The ratchet wheels appear to work fine. The next one is marked Made in Germany, 34/1/74 and the plates measure 3 5/16" wide and 2 7/8" high. There is no bird stand but the brackets are here. The lifters and hammer are missing. The verge and escape wheel look good. The wire that the pendulum hangs on is missing. There are no hands or nut, pendulum or chains. The ratchet wheels appear to work fine. This movement has had bushings installed as the pictures will show. Both of these movements need cleaning. There are some nice vintage parts and possibly could be restored.Check the pictures they can tell you more than I can.
