I have owned this incredible original 1920's glass Carter's point of sale sign for over 20 years. It was one of the highlights of my Carter's collection, but now it is time for it to have a new home. This is one of the most magnificent pen ephemera items you will ever see and the condition is un-improvable. This is a reverse painted glass sign with a cardboard backing and fold out easel stand. I don't think the stand has ever been folded out. This sign is in mint condition. The paint is bright and mint. The glass is perfect and the edges are all original and perfect. The incredible orange and blue colors of this sign make it stand alone in the world of ephemera collecting. The fact that it not only shows a bottle of ink but a pen too, just adds to the fact. NO RESERVE! We are a full service vintage and new pen store in Minneapolis Minnesota, w we have been in business for the past 18 years. We service and repair all makes of vintage and new pens. The owner is a 25 year collector. Rest assured you get exactly what we describe in our listings. BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: This is an auction. Please ask me any questions you may have about this item BEFORE the sale, so that you do not have to question YOURSELF after the sale . Unless otherwise noted in the listing, all sales are final , so ASK! Buyer to pay $8.50 plus $1 for every $100 of value
