This is a remarkable lot of India Forces Mail postal stationery 1941 to 1978 with envelopes, postal cards and letter sheets both used and unused. There is a great range of material here for anyone interested in Military postal history, including April and May 1944 Airmail letter cards overprinted "NAVAL ISSUE" sent from HMS Ceylon with the Eastern Fleet, with interesting contents regarding the attack on the Japanese-held Island of SABANG off the tip of Sumatra, group of 1943 Royal Marines "Force Overt" letter cards, Prisoner of War stationery - everything is illustrated, so please take some tome to look carefully through the high resolution scans. Some of the earlier stationery items are rather scarce. This would make a fine purchase for anyone wishing to build up a collection of this interesting area, or for the dealer wishing to break the lot down for resale. Weight of the package is 580 grams, so tracked insured airmail to Europe is £12, to UK it is £8.50 and to India, U.S.A and the rest of the world it is £16.
