India Postage Stamp Centenary Souvenir Album 1854-1954 This album was issued by The Indian Posts and Telegraphs Department on the Occasion of the India Postage Stamp Centenary on October 1, 1954. Each page features images of each of the issued postage stamps of India from the 1854 color lithographs through the post-independence issues of 1954. An index at the end of the album describes in detail all of the listed postage stamps and completes a record of 100 years progress of India’s postage stamps from 1854 through 1954. The album is in very fine condition (see typical pictures) and encased in leather-type covers. Size: 8-1/2 inches wide x 6 inches high x 3/4" thick. Net weight under one pound.
