For auction is a Government of India 1 rupee note issued for use in the Persian Gulf dating from around 1950. Has the serial No prefix Z/29 & signed by A.K.Roy as secretary, ministry of Finance. Circulated with folds, creasing & three tiny holes along the vertical centrefold. Also has the usual two pinholes on the left side. No tears, nicks or writing on it & still feels quite crisp. Scarce collectable note.
