INDIAN BLUE 93A Mini Pitcher FRANKOMA mark Pottery is a very old mini pitcher; it is the color Indian Blue and was made from Ada clay. This great mini sports a very old mark; it is on its clay bottom "93A" which is visible in the photos AND, the old all-caps "FRANKOMA" mark is on its bottom--the F and the K are somewhat worn but can be seen, which I tried to capture it in the photos. I don't have a book but I found some minis online last year that were in the 90A-and 93A range and they sold for $90. plus each. This little blue pitcher was one of the first pieces I collected--I was born in OK and left when I was 10; it was old when I got it and from the other pieces I found & articles I've read over the years, I believe that it was produced about 1936 (looking in an American Pottery Marks book, fig I of Frankoma). I don't own a Frankoma Pottery book, per se. This old Frankoma mini pitcher stands at about 3-3/4 inches high and measure right at 3 inches across, including the handle and spout. It has a couple of tiny nicks or pits in the blue--you have to examine it to see them; the bottom has some wear--so I think this piece is in very good condition (I've just had it behind glass, on display).
