All of these items were in one individual’s personal collection bought directly from Bannerman’s in the mid 1950s. Lot 126 5 US Army & National Guard helmet plates - pre 1900. Large insignia measures approximately 4 1/2" tall X 3 3/4" wide. Beautiful crossed canons, eagle & shield design .
