Indiana Jones - Raiders Of The Lost Ark (1981) This is an original production used storyboard from the classic Spielberg/Lucas movie, starring Harrison Ford. It's a unique piece, as it features production hand annotations throughout by 2nd Unit Assistant Director, Carlos Gil. Carlos Gil worked alongside Micky Moore, the 2nd Unit Director (picture attached). Is is widely known that Spielberg and the 1st Unit concentrated solely on filming the shots featuring Harrison Ford, and left the majority of the action sequences (such as the truck chase scene) to Moore and Gil. Carlos Gils hand markings were made in green and blue markers, and also pencil. The made notes on which unit would film which shot, filming locations, extras and other instructions. Mr Gil also confirmed that these storyboards were taken to location and used on set during filming, and the hand notations updated whilst there. The piece is in very good condition, with slight wear from use on set, and it being over 30 years old. The piece was obtained directly from a fellow collector in Spain, who met with Carlos Gil personally. Included is a copy of his LOA, detailing the pieces history and provenance, and also provides more information that is given here. I will include my own LOA to accompany his LOA.
