I have for auction an original WW2 United States M8 Anti Personnel practice training mine and M6A1 Dummy fuze in great condition completely INERT. The M8 was the training version for the M2 A.P. mine and was never loaded with any explosives, it only contained smoke pellets which have long been gone. A design based on French plans it was replaced after the war with the model M16 based on the successful German WW2 anti personnel type although it was still used in the Korean conflict. The M8 is is excellent shape with solid blue paint, no body damage and good markings as pics should show. It is missing the top metal cover but that would be a very easy item to find or at least something close and make it look complete. The dummy M6A1 pressure and pull fuse is also in great shape and clean original OD paint. It is only missing the top safety pin and the joining piece for threading it in to the fuze well (all threads are intact on both as far as I can tell but the stem seats in the tube anyway) all of which should be pretty easy to replace/fabricate and make your display look great. The last pic is to show what the complete unit looks like with a proper cover and fuze attached correctly to stem. A very uncommon and rare item here to add to any WWII G.I. collection for sure. Sorry, no overseas shipping on this, don't need to cause any headaches read more
