This is a SUPERIOR 100% ALL ORIGINAL BEAUTIFUL example of an INGRAHAM Tambour Mantle Clock. It was made circa 1910. It is a very classy mantle clock in need of a warm loving home. This is an outstanding example of this type clock – with a superior ORIGINAL finish to the case. It has a clean signed "Ingraham Clock Co" 8-day time and strike movement which chimes on the half-hour and counts the hours on a cathedral gong, with a mellow beautiful sound. The movement runs very well and keeps good time. The movement was just cleaned, oiled, pivots polished and bushings added where needed. This clock will not need servicing for many years to come, and is ready for the next 100 years! This is a labor intensive service, with many clockmakers charging 250.00 and up.We recommend having it oiled every 2 to 3 years to keep it in tip-top shape! With the purchase of this clock for an additional $ 2.25 we will include an oiler kit with a professional oiler loaded with enough oil to oil approximately 50 clocks with easy instructions so you could even do it yourself! Has its original PORCELAIN DIAL in nearly perfect condition. It has an adjustment for fast and slow on the top of the dial. This way you don't have to take the clock down off the mantel to adjust it for slow and fast. Comes with the original pendulum and a new double ended key. Very rare for a clock to retain its original pendulum! The back door is original and works great! The metal around the dial is solid brass or copper, IN SUPERIOR CONDITION (no extra screw holes). Runs great with a happy ticking sound. The clock measures 10 inches high, 6 inches deep, and 22 ½ inches wide. These antique clocks amaze me - could you imagine any other consumer product still working after nearly 100 years! And the truly amazing thing with proper care they will work easily past the next 100 years, and much more!
