INK DRAWINGS ON MINISTRY PAPER. HMS HOOD, RODNEY, REPULSE, RENOWN NELSON. This offering is three sheets of paper each embossed with the Royal coat of Arms (I think). Upon each in pen and ink is drawn the silhouette of two of His Majesties Warships. Under each ’named’ vessel is its statistics, its capabilities, its cost on building. Obviously the paper is of the period……strange…….five vessels in total. HMS Nelson. HMS Rodney. HMS Hood. HMS Repulse. HMS Renown. Paper size is 7 ½” x 9 ½”. All found in a portfolio with other important, vintage wartime, Royal Naval ephemera.
