Offering for auction an EARLY INK OR DYE BOTTLE highly embossed and has a whittle mold. The bottle is embossed on one side which reads....HOWE & STEVENS ... on the opposite side it reads with embossing...FAMILY DYE COLORS. It is a snap case mold with a seam across the bottom and it has a very crude lip. The bottle is small measuring approx. 2-5/8" tall and approx. 1-5/8" across the bottom by 7/8". No cracks or chips.
