First let me say - I am not a thimble collector. I am selling my aunt's extensive thimble collection from around the world collected over 40 years. I have tried to assemble them into what appears to be a collection or series but they may not all go together but I am listing them very inexpensively. I will try to answer any questions you may have. These are the neatest thimbles - they look like pewter but I don't know that for sure. One is a globe and it spins and has Martin 1988 engraved on the inside; one is a gramophone and the record spins, the needle arm moves and it says USA on the inside; one is a coffee pot and the lid flips open; one is a teapot and the lid flips open; one is a rural mailbox and the lid comes open and it says MSI 1987 on the bottom and one is a jack in the box and a clown comes out when the lid opens. Please email with questions prior to bidding and thank you for looking. I will be listing several lots of thimbles over the next few days.
