This auction is for an Intermountain NScale set of three General Motors Electromotive Division locomotives that arefactory painted in the Burlington Route’s “grayback” scheme used on all of its freight F units. Included are an F3A, F3B, and F7A. The road numbers are 124 on the F3A and 164 on the F7A; there is no number on the F3B. These models were produced in 2007. All of the locomotives are powered and run very smoothly; they come from the factory DCC ready. Each is equipped with Micro-Trains Magne-Matic knuckle couplers, etched grills (not molded plastic as is usually found on plastic shells), and wire handrails. The A units have factory-installed directional lighting. In all, they have the types of features you used to only find on imported brass. I am the original owner and can attest to the fact that the set is in mint condition—they have only been taken out of their plastic jewel cases to test run and take the pictures for this auction. The models come with all of their original packaging—the plastic cases for the individual units are in excellent shape (they did not come from the manufacturer with an outer package for a combined set).
