The International Silver Co. was incorporated in 1898. It could trace its origins to the early 1800's. It was formed by quite a large number of independent firms. The company produced flatware for Fine Arts Sterling Silver Co. of Morgantown, PA. International also produced several flatware patterns for Sears, Roebuck & Co. and these patterns carry the Century back-stamp. Both the International Silver Co. and Wallace Silversmiths were acquired by Katy Industies in 1984.
