This Special Edition focuses on the history of the Pasadena, Long Beach, and San Pedro streetcars and railways. Includes chronologies, histories, and statistics for each line, as well as extensive historic photographic images of the cars from the early teens through the 1940s; also with historic maps of each line. The Pacific Electric Railway, founded by Henry Huntington, was the largest railway network in the world in the 1920s. It connected Los Angeles with many surrounding cities, the first of which was Long Beach.AS PICTURED
