Up for auction is a gorgeous Navajo sterling silver turquoise Naja pendant. "Naja" is the Native word for "crescent," a symbol that was common to many of the earliest civilizations. In the late 1500s and early 1600s, the saddles and bridles of huge muscled horses of the Spanish Conquistadors were fitted with sterling silver crescent-shaped pendants or Moorish origin. The pendant measures 2-7/16" long and 2-1/8" wide. It weighs a total of 25.7g . The pendant has been tested and examined for purity and is sterling silver. In addition, there are no test marks or cosmetic damage to the piece. The pendant in the pictures is the one you will receive! Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
