You are bidding on a classic coin operated arcade game INVADERS (FROM OUTER SPACE) from Midway.Manufacturer: Midway Manufacturing Co. Year: 1970 Type: Arcade Cabinet Styles: Upright/StandardA monster style gun game where the player shoots monsters with a joystick controled lazer gun. With electronic sound and motorized score reels. When a monster is hit a red light flashes. The gun uses a red light (kind of looks like a laser pointer) feature to show where it is being aimed. The basic premis of the game is much like a carnival game where you shoot the targets. Monsters and aliens will pop up and down in the city and you have to shoot them. Every now and then a flying saucer will fly over the city and you will have to shot it. (This flying saucer is arguably the inspiration for the mother ship in the classic video game Space Invaders.)The game itself is in good condition with all parts in working order. The only "damage" would be the front panel that originally had some artwork on it. (The last picture shows what the game originally looked like.) It did not have this artwork when we bought it.For an extra $20 we will deliver the game anywhere within 20 miles of Huntsville Alabama. Otherwise, buyer will be responsible for all shipping arringements. (We will not put the game on a pallet.)If you follow this link you can see a youtube read more
