This piece is signed by E. Svarchian and is dated 1951. The colors and scene are particularly nice. The piece measures approx. 7 3/4" x 10". The watercolors are bright and the only defect I see are a couple of age (maybe water) spots at the very bottom left hand corner of the piece. These would be covered by a frame or matting and they are not very noticeable. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to obtain a beautiful watercolor depicting life in Iran in the 1950’s. This collection was found at an estate sale in Southern California . Each piece has it’s own character and is signed and dated by the artist. These pieces are over 50 years old and the paper has typical age coloration. Any defects beyond normal wear expected for a piece of this age are noted. The photos accurately depict the condition of each piece and have not been edited. Each painting was created by one artist read more
