Ireland Souvenir TRISKELL Triple Spirac Irish 6 inches Newgrange CelticThis item is a souvenir of Ireland, and it features the ancient "Triple Spirac" pattern. It is designed to hang on the wall and has a circle loop to serve as a hanger. It measures about 6 inches by 2.5 inches. There is black felt on the back of this item. A tag indicates, "Handcrafted in Ireland using Irish Stone Fragments by Janus Crafts."There is also another tag that indicates the significance of the design."The ancient 'Triple Spirac' pattern was originally carved about 5,000 years ago on the inner wall at Newgrange (Bru Na Boinne.). Although the pattern is fairly simple it is strikingly bold and displays ancient pagan wisdom. The pattern is very symbolic of the relationship of the sun, earth and moon, like the 'Eternal Triangle'. This makes it very appropriate at Newgrange, which Donn (Daghda) made to last for all time. Two other Trikells are known, one in Brittany (France) and one on a Mexican Pyramid."My wife purchased this item in Ireland several years ago. We plan to downsize and want to find a new home for this treasured souvenir. Shipped quickly. .
