What you see is what you get, We take pictures of each piece or parcel. Rainbow hematite is found in an iron mine near the city of Belo Horizonte in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. Scientifically it could be described as iridescent specular hematite. Specular means mirror-like and described the sparkle that the mineral gives off as the light reflects from the myriad microscopic crystal faces of the hematite as the specimen is turned in the sun. The material is completely natural, has not been altered in any way, and is believed to be color stable.
