Here is an Irish Belleek black mark vase with three dimensional, very finely sculpted delicate flowers, leaves, buds, and stems. It measures 5 3/4" tall,. The band of foliage starts above the shoulder and goes down diagonally. I am looking with a magnifier all over the large bouquet and I don't see any tiny bit of this foliage nicked off. Well, now I see something... just below the large open flower on the shoulder are two thin short stems going straight down, one further than the other. The top one is right next to a leaf. These two stems each have a bud or very tiny opening leaves at the end, and I see some raw spots on both, where something was nipped off. ... But on the whole rest of the bouquet everything is intact to the tiniest detail.. On the bottom is the Irish Belleek black mark used from the 1920's to 1946. The bottom rim and top rim are excellent with no nicking. The inside is clean. The vase itself has no chips, nicks, cracks, lines or scratches. Also on the front is a very small swell or prunt, glazed over and from the making. On the back near the bottom is a tiny rust colored line also from the making as it is glazed over and smooth there. Below that is a very tiny glazed over dimple from the making. The color is all that nice even light bright Belleek color. My color photography is average and might wrongly show it read more
