A Stunning porcelain robin made of finest quality eggshell porcelain handpainted with a superb glaze this is artist signed on base and it is 4" tall the applied holly leaves berries and shamrocks are all handmade and is really beautiful.... a unique gift for xmas About Hillgrove PorcelainMy name is Brian O'Sullivan, I live in "Hillgrove", Carhan, Cahirciveen, Co Kerry, Ireland. I have been a Belleek Collector for many years and over that period of time I have collected some very rare pieces from the first and second period of Belleek's history. I have always been fascinated by the work of the Craftsmen in Belleeks earlier years. This is what prompted me to set up Hillgrove Porcelain and to start producing fine quality, handmade porcelain. All the work is done by me and all pieces are made in very limited numbers. No two pieces will ever be the same and t is no mass production.
