Irish Railway Photograph Depictin unknown steam locomotive No 89 Again I must thank a kind observer who has added the following information GSWR/GSR clss 60/D14 No 89, designed by Aspinall, and built 1886 at Dublin Inchicore works. Rebuilt in 1925 and again in 1936 with Belpaire Z type boiler.(reclassified to class D13 from 1925 to 1933) Seen here at Limerick shed, with a large white circle on the tender to indicate to signalmen, "fitted for oil burning" Withdrawal came in 1960 I believe this to be original Size 5 1/2 ins x 3 5/8 ins Condition - Good to very good. No creases, clean, clear and sharp. The edges are very good and the corners have only modest softening/rounding. There is a small black mark in the top left corner. Please see scan. Please note that any horizontal/vertical lines that may be present are from the scanner and do not appear on the card All cards/photos are supplied in protective plastic sleeves and are posted board backed for extra protection.
