YOU ARE BIDDING ON 8" x 10" glossy black and white photo signed/inscribed of the great piano trio: Leonard Rose (1918-1984) Cellist, Isaac Stern (1920-2001), Violin, Eugene Istomin (1925-2003), Piano. Inscribed "To Bob, 1968." Istomin writes in ball-point pen, "Best Wishes," Isaac Stern writes, "With Thanks." Photo is in mint condition with no bites or folds. This great Piano Trio was founded in the 1960's thanks to the initiative of Pablo Casals. These musicians recorded almost all the chamber music of Beethoven, Brahms and Schubert. In 1970 they won a Grammy for Best Chamber Music Performance of Beethoven.
