I found this at an estate sale and just passing it along. I had never seen a book like this before and I found it most interesting that a town would have a limited edition book [ 2579 of 5500 published ] published honoring the brave soldiers of the town of Islip NY and surrounding areas. The book [ 768 pages ] is loaded with the pictures of the men & women who served in the war effort along with an individual bio of each person represented. The pages are broken down by areas surrounding Islip such as Central Islip, Bayshore, Bohemia and more. All pages are crisp and no tears period. Spine is solid as a foundation.
