My wifes grandfather served in Italy during WWII. This is something he brought home with him. On one side of the dagger are the letters MVSN and on the other is E 722. I have searched the internet and found a few MSVN daggers but, none like this one. I found out this morning that this dagger is a MVSN Captains dagger.
