HUGE Vintage Hollywood Regency Italianate Faux Bamboo Creamy White Tole Chandelier 8 Lights! Shabby Chic with chippy paint in a lovely pagoda shape. This is one of the best Hollywood Regency pieces around, but it is quite large and will need a large room to showcase it! This fixture measures approx. 25" in width and is approx. 22" tall. T are 8 arms that extend 9" from the main pagoda frame. Each light rests on a floral or foliate cup (3 1/2" diameter) and has a 3 1/2" tall candle sleeve with "dripping wax". This uses a standard candelabra bulb and appears to have been refitted with new electrical sockets. All of the pieces of this chandelier are "jointed" or "knotted" faux bamboo! The ends of the bamboo shoots are sharp angular spikes, as traditional in the Hollywood Regency design. What is unusual about this piece, are the bamboo spikes included within the main frame on the bottom. You'll see those in the photos. These spikes or canes of bamboo add the extra over-the-top Hollywood Regency flare that sets this fixture apart from the rest. The top of the chandelier has a gorgeous multi-leaved canopy that is to-die-for! Bottom of the chandelier has a cupped fitting with a knobbed finial on the end. Chain included was not original and I painted that in a linen enamel to match the piece. The chain is about 3' long. I also included a vintage period fluted or scalloped ceiling cap. It is 4 3/4" diameter. Sold "as is" so bid and ask questions accordingly. I haven't boxed this up yet, but due to the size, I am guessing that shipping within the continental USA would be approx. $50.
