This matching set of clock and candelabra are Italian rococo style. The clock is stamped "Italy" but there are no manufacturer names. However the clock mechanism appears to be Hermle, with FH and Germany visible on the movement inside. The movement is stamped 86, which refers to the date 1986, probably a replacement. The clock measures 23" tall, 14" wide, and 20 lbs. The chime works when hands are moved manually, but the clock mechanism does not. It may be overwound. There is a winding key. An identical version of this clock was advertised by an auction house and identified as made by "Lancini" and of gilt bronze. Each candelabra is 24" tall and 10 lbs. No wax residue is apparent. The overall motif is floral, but each has a pair of lovebirds on the lower front.
