Inquire if you need more information. These Photographs came from the estate of a US Army Officer who was put in charge of military censoring of an Italian newspaper in Rome. These photos were found t and taken as souvenirs by that officer. They are all marked âeoeIstituto Nazionale per le Relazioni Culturali Con Lâe(tm)Estero Roma - Via Quattro Fontane 20 Sevizio Photograficoâe, then a number and a description in Italian of the photographic scene. Many of them have typewritten titles attached to the bottom on newsprint paper, some in Italian some in German, which were used when the photographs were published. The reason for the German was that they published an edition in German for troops in Italy as well as for sending to Germany itself.
