Here is the most unusual Zodiac Piastra of Naples & Sicily. So named for the horizontal band on the reverse containing the signs of the Zodiac. Below the band, is the sun and the Earth. Issued for king Ferdinand IV, first rule, 1759-1799. The fields show a light indication of an old cleaning. The portraits of Ferdinand and his wife, Carolina are quite appealing.
