ITHACA CLOCK CO. ITHACA NEW YORK"FARMER'S NO. 10" PERPETUAL CALENDAR CLOCKUp for your consideration is a C. 1880 Calendar / Mantle Clock manufactured by the Ithaca Clock Co. entitled "Farmers No. 10". Ithaca Clock Co. was based in Ithaca New York. The Ithaca Co. were mainly producers of clock cases, the movements were supplied by several companies. The movement in this clock was made by EN Welch. The Horton Patented Calendar Movements were produced by the Ithaca Co. on location.This Farmer's 10 model is 25 inches tall. The clock is running and striking nicely. Most of the clock seems original. Dials are in nice shape. There is a repair to the top finial, which is highly common on this model. The clock finish is overall in very good condition, however showing usual age related wear. The clock is 137 years old and doesn't look a day over 50...lol. Clock comes with pendulum.The Calendar Movement is original, complete and sound. It will be up to you to set the movement up or have a clock guy do it for you as we have not set it up and it will need adjustments when shipped.We at selling this working super antique for NO RESERVE to the highest bidder.
