Looks like this old guy already has a fish in his creel basket. He is signed, but we can not make out the artist. If any one knows the artist's name, please feel free to let us know. Not sure if this statue figure is considered as a mudman or not. Also, do not know the age of this beautifully carved item. Could be vintage or antique. Owner says it's fairly old. Whatever its age, the hand carving is intricate and well done. Stands about 6 1/2" high and is 2 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" deep. Do not see any chips or cracks on this work of art.
