Kagura's earrings, version 3.0: this time, I've stacked up (or down?) a graduated set of 6-10mm labradorite rounds as the "green" beads. They're more of a subtle green-grey with icy aqua fire at certain angles, an optical phenomenon that's so unique to labradorite that it's called (tah dah) "labradorescence". It provides a nice chromatic transition between the solid sterling pierced leverback clips up top and the bronze-finished pewter feather dangles at the bottom, making for a total length of about 4". Interspersed throughout are little bonus beads of 3mm dark-topaz Czech glass, and the cordage is a doubled length of 20lb-test gel-extruded polymer fiber.My general philosophy is to make "real" anime jewelry that's nice enough to wear every day, not just once a year at cosplay conventions.
