It is rare to come across a piece that does not have a fleabite or two, sometimes many, but not this piece. It is in perfect conditions, nary a nick, crack, fleabite, etc. It is listed as H&J’s #249 (shown in Olive Green), but this is a beautiful Amethyst, with a Goddess, Putty, and lovely surround “chain” design on the flat, cut base. The salt is mold poured, with the base cut flat, and the pattern acid etched, as Intaglios are famous for their etched patterns. This particular piece is listed as “SCARCE” so in this excellent condition, a real find you do not want lose to another Bidder.
