Three day auction !! Ends Sunday. Please view my other items. I will be listing a bunch of axes and hatchets this week. I will combine shipping. Nice broad axe marked J. Hicks. It is also marked Eliz-Town, I believe, it is hard to make it out (this may be Elizabethtown,PA.). Head is 9-1/4" tall with a 8-1/4" wide cutting edge. The top is 3-1/4" x 1-1/8". Total weight is 5 pounds 9 ounces. This is a hewing axe I believe. T is a slight curve to flat side as seen in picture with straight edge. It looks as though someone has sandblasted this in the past, with some light surface rust starting to reappear. Ask any ??? Sold as is. Check my feedback.
