JA & CW Underwood Stoneware Crock Fort Edward, NY: displays extremely well, this small crock is in wonderful condition, view all photos for condition, Pay Pal preferred. One and a Half Gallon Jug. A bold mark by a maker who was only in business from 1865 to 1867. JA & CW Underwood. A blue cobalt Bird on a branch decorates this 1 and 1/2 gallon crock. It has very small ancient inoffensive chip on one handle ( easily seen in photo 8 ) and a small tight hairline above the other handle ( see photo 5 ). NO other chips, pings, hairlines, or repairs. A great piece of early Americana. You will be pleased at the quality of this crock. Will ship double boxed and insured. Size: approximately 8 and 1/4 inches high by 8 and 1/2 inches across.
