This is a beautiful Jack Armstrong ring. It was issued in 1940 as a Jack Armstrong Radio show premium. The green stone has wear but is original. It glows very brightly. Of the three of these, often called "Crocodile Rings,"(Notice the crocodile with open mouth on both sides of the ring.), This stone was the most unstable.The other rings had more stable stone material. The other rings were the Buck Rogers red stone Ring Of Saturn and the black stoned Cary Salt Shadow Ring Normally the stone on this ring sinks in the middle like a sway backed horse. It also had a tendency to shrink some over the years and became smaller than the other two stones. This is one has shrinkage but is not sunken in the middle.
