In 1994 the Jack Daniel's Distillery continued their travels in the beer brewing process. Upon a visit 1995 to the self-sustained U.S. benchmark and world legend of Tennessee Whiskey, I purchased this bottle of charcoal mellowed "Oh Be Joyful". Though the whiskey didn't make the stand of time, the bottle, wooden case, and certificate of authenticity did. This was a tasty beverage as it was bottled from Barrelhouse 1 and of 94 proof. I am not positive about this, but I believe it was aged 2 years compared to the 4 year black label. The certificate verifies the number of the bottle and that I purchased it. One of the most unique pieces of information about this article, is the wooden case is the same wood the distillery uses for it's aging barrels and the charcoal used in the filtering process. All of the wood is grown on the Jack Daniel's land. As I said in the second sentence, Jack Daniel's used to be primarily self-sustained business, with exception of the bottle, be it glass or plastic. Still doing some study work on this subject. I believe this bottle is a replica of 19th century bottles. Maybe the same design as the Jack Daniel's bottle, which contained the whiskey for saloon patron's all over the wild west. Any information you have to add or subtract is always welcome. Thanks for visiting and enjoy the bid.......
