This violin belonged to my mother who played it in the school orchestra in High Point, North Carolina in the late 1920s to early 1930s. Label on the back of the violin says "First National Institute of Allied Arts". Inside label reads: "Model Antonius Stradivarius Cremonenfis Faciebat Anno 17 Jackson-Guldan Violin Co. Columbus, Ohio" Includes a rough case and bow (needs new horse hair). I've had this for over 50 years-it is time now to pass it on to someone who can appreciate it for restoration or display.
