This 3 gallon salt glaze stoneware crock was my mother's. Marked, "James Benjamin. Stoneware Depot Cincinnati, O." Also has large numeral 3 with a maple leaf on each side. Lettering is nice and clear. 10" in diameter; 11" tall. Has handles. Excellent condition. Only flaws I can find are a shallow 1/4" chip on the upper side of the left handle (see photo) and on the lower side of the right handle what I believe is an area that didn't get glazed, but we can call it a chip just in case. I sold another crock previously, which I bubbled and double-boxed and sent Fed Ex. It got to its destination fine, but if the buyer is from the Cincinnati, Dayton, Lima, Columbus, Louisville, Indianapolis, or the Fort Wayne area, I would be glad to meet you half way after you have paid for the auction through Paypal. (I live in Richmond, Indiana.) Then you can examine the crock and if it does not meet your expectations, we can cancel the auction and I will refund your Paypal payment.
