ItemDescription High quality artwork print depicting Sean Connery as James Bond 007 in the famous Underwater Battle / Look Down artwork. It measures 59 x42 cm / 23 x 16 inches and is printed on solid 160gsm paper using a CrystalPoint process with a matt finish. Information about the painting I've been a James Bond art enthusiast for over 30 years and always wanted to own an original artwork from the 1960s James Bond movies. Sadly the originals sell for enormous amounts of money that I can't afford. So I decided to paint my own, based on the best source material I could find. The artworks of Bond artist Frank McCarthy are usually cropped and not shown in full in the posters. I've spent a long time researching and combining various parts from posters, magazines and record covers to reconstruct the full artwork. Then the composite was retouched and repainted using materials and techniques as close to the originals as possible. The result was scanned at high resolution to maintain the maximum amount of detail. Please see the detail photos and judge for yourself.
