Rare Antique James Kent Ltd Longton, EnglandSmall VaseLovely Small Porcelain Vase made by James Kent Ltd. in Longton, England, old Foley, dating to around c. 1897. This lovely piece measures about 2 3/4" tall and about 1 3/4" wide at the top. The pattern number is #3012, but I haven't been able to locate another pattern like this one. Vase is ovoid shaped and depicts detail of hand painted flowers and gold trim. Scalloped edge at the top of the rim/mouth on a teal, turquoise-green base (even crazing throughout as per crackle glaze). Some light fading can be seen near the images, along the gold rim and near the bottom, but no chips or cracks are visible. Inside shows some light wear. Underneath the vase it reads "James Kent Ltd. Longton, Made In England, 3012" In Gold Letters. Pretty detail on this piece and so hard to find, this would make a wonderful addition to your home or collection!
