Menasha, WI: George Banta Publishing Co., 1917. Second Revised edition. Octavo. U ncommon issue of this WWI U.S. military training manual, packed full of details on all matters military, including how to fight in trenches, chemical weapons, small and large caliber arms and more . Bound in the publisher's ribbed blue cloth covered boards, with gilt-stamped titles. Contents lightly toned. Previous owner's ink inscription to the front flyleaf. The boards are a bit rubbed and edgeworn. Quite uncommon WWI item, particularly with the maps .
