A Hand drawn original lithograph printed in a limited edition of 150 in 1997. Dimensions 27 x 19.5 inches sheet size and in mint conditionCalled French Interior, this work retails online for £195.It's signed in pencil lower right Jane corsellis and numbered from an edition of 220 lower left.Jane Corsellis studied at the Byam Shaw School of Art in London. She was awarded the Leverhulme Scholarship and the final year Painting Prize. While still a student she exhibited at the Young Contemporaries Exhibition and at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.After leaving the Byam Shaw in 1962 she painted for a year in Spain before returning to teach for two years. In 1972 she moved with her family to Hong Kong where she had a solo exhibition. Having returned to England for a few years, she then moved to Ottawa, Canada for three years , having a solo exhibition there. Subsequently she lived for a further three years in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; while there she visited and painted in India, Thailand, Bali and Australia and had a solo exhibition in Kuala Lumpur. In 1991 she returned with her family to their house in Notting Hill, London, also spending part of the year in Pembrokeshire where she has had a house and a studio since she was a child.
