Japan Nippon Violet Floral Porcelain Vase Art Pottery Now up for auction is this Nippon Violet Floral Porcelain Vase. This vase bears a mark on the bottom, but I am unable to read what it says. We do believe this vase to be Japanese however. This hand painted vase is beautifully decorated in a purple and yellow floral pattern and has a hunter green background. With the exception of some wear to the gilding, it is in excellent condition and has no chips, cracks or hairlines. It stands 9 3/4'' tall and measures 5 1/4'' from handle to handle.
